The Mighty Micro-Korg

while browsing my local pawn shop a while back, i saw this little bad boy sitting on the shelf. i was instantly mesmerized by its small sleek design. a couple of days later i returned to purchase it. my next couple of hours was filled with amazing synthesized sounds. anyone interested in fiddling around with synthesizers should know that this machine is a great place to start. oh and did i also mention that it has a VOCODER built in. also very fun to play around with. on with the pics shall we?

also with the audio in, you could mess with any audio feed (tv audio or MP3 player) in real time! make it sound real trippy or distorted or add all the reverb your heart desires!

some more microkorg info: The microKORG is a MIDI-capable virtual analog synthesizer/vocoder from Korg featuring high-quality DSP analog modelling. The keyboard is built in such a way that it is essentially a Korg MS-2000 with programmable step arpeggiator (MS-2000 has only six simple patterns), a less advanced vocoder (8 bands instead of 16 bands found on the MS-2000), lack of motion sequencing (MS-2000 had three motion sequences), lack of an XLR microphone input, and in a smaller case with fewer real-time control knobs.
